Experience the Rush

As you navigate through the river's twists and turns, you'll encounter rapids ranging from grade 2 to grade 4—each one a thrilling challenge guaranteed to get your heart racing. But the excitement doesn't stop there.

Understanding the Scale

Class I: Beginner-Friendly - These are the gentlest rivers, characterized by slow-moving water and few obstacles. Perfect for beginners or those seeking a leisurely float.

Class II: Novice - Slightly more challenging than class I, class II rivers feature small waves and easy-to-navigate rapids. Suitable for beginners with some paddling experience.

Class III: Intermediate - Intermediate paddlers will find class III rivers more exciting, with moderate waves and obstacles that require maneuvering skills. Expect faster currents and more technical challenges.

Class IV: Advanced - Class IV rivers are for experienced paddlers seeking a thrill. These rivers boast powerful rapids, large waves, and complex maneuvers. Advanced paddling skills and teamwork are essential.

Class V: Expert - Reserved for expert paddlers, class V rivers are incredibly challenging, with intense rapids, turbulent water, and significant hazards. Only skilled and experienced rafters should attempt these rivers.

Class VI: Extreme - Class VI rivers are considered extremely dangerous and are often unrunnable due to their treacherous conditions, such as waterfalls, steep drops, and hazardous obstacles. These rivers are typically reserved for extreme athletes and are not recommended for recreational rafting.

Factors Influencing River Grades

Several factors determine a river's grade, including water volume, gradient (slope), obstacles (such as rocks and boulders), and hydraulic features (such as eddies and whirlpools). Additionally, environmental conditions, such as weather and water levels, can impact a river's difficulty and safety.

Take the Plunge

For the ultimate adrenaline rush, brace yourself for cliff jumping—an opportunity for the most daring adventurers to leap into the unknown and emerge exhilarated on the other side. It's the kind of experience that leaves you speechless, yet eager to recount every heart-pounding moment.
